HOW TO:

The most important ingredient is elbow grease.

More cleaning product does not clean better. Always use the least potent product necessary
Bleach is not the best disinfectant AMMONIA is.
Make your own home cleaner with for example few drops of vinegar and water if you need to wash a wooden surface (take into account wood should not be washed frequently)
There are good dust mops for daily cleaning. The ones where you put like a paper towel on and then just throw itin trash or that are fiber and you wash are very usefull and comfortable but pick a stable brand or you may end up without replacements Same goes for wet mop even store brand is fine. The mop head is more important than the handle unless you are very tall or need it to contract for storage issues.

A powerful vacuum is a good investment as it saves work.

Dyson ones don't have a bag and are powerful but might be over your budget.

The most important is POWER. Rowenta has a cheaper with the same power . After size noise, etc is personal preference

A cheap grease cutter is a FEW drops of ammonia and liquid dish detergent mixed with a quart of water.
Baby wipes have cleaners and oils and can be used to clean leather, shoes, purses , chairs. car seats and wood surfaces in a pinch
Ammonia removes bad smells

Smells in trash cans etc can be prevented by putting some baking soda on the bottom before the trash bag

Wet footwear can best be dried by stuffing with newspaper to absorb and then adding some powder like a mix of cornstarch and baking soda to absorb last liquid and smell.
